Registration Entitlements
Full Registration Entitlements include:
- Admission to all IEEE PES GTD 2027 sessions from Thursday, 30 September 2027 to Saturday, 2 October 2027
- Admission to Pre-Conference Tutorials/Workshops on Wednesday, 29 September 2027
- Admission to the IEEE PES GTD 2027 Exhibition Hall

- Ticket to the Welcome Reception held on Wednesday, 29 September 2027
- Opportunity to purchase a ticket to the Conference Dinner held on Friday, 1 October 2027

Registration Fees
All fees are quoted in Australian dollars (AUD) and include 10% GST (Goods and Services Tax). For currency conversion, please use an online currency converter.
Student Registration Eligibility
A student is defined as a holder of a student identification card from a recognised tertiary or secondary educational institution or an international student card. Students must be currently enrolled in part- or full-time study.
IEEE Member Registration Eligibility
If you are claiming IEEE member rates, you will be required to provide your IEEE member number as part of your registration.
Society Member Registration Eligibility
If you are claiming Society member rates, you will be required to provide your Society member number as part of your registration.
Life Member Registration Eligibility
If you are claiming Life Member member rates, you will be required to provide your IEEE member number as part of your registration.
Key Dates
All deadlines are 11:59pm AEST Melbourne time.
- All payments must be made in Australian Dollars (AUD) and include 10% GST.
- Full payment is required at the time of registration for credit card payments.
- Invoice payments, must be paid within 7 days.
- Invitation letter for visa purposes will only be issued after full payment is received via a ‘Confirmation of Registration’ email
Deadline: Friday, 30 July 2027
Cancellations must be notified in writing (e-mail is sufficient) to the IEEE PES GTD 2027 Secretariat. Cancellations made by Friday, 30 July 2027 will result in a full refund less $150 to cover administration costs. As an alternative to cancellation, your registration may be transferred to another person by Wednesday, 15 September 2027 without incurring any cost penalty. Refunds for cancellations received after Friday, 30 July 2027 will only be made in exceptional circumstances. The host reserves final decision on a case-by-case basis for granting a cancellation in extenuating circumstances. It is recommended that travel insurance be secured personally upon registering. The IEEE PES GTD 2027 Secretariat. must be advised in writing of any alterations or transfers of registrations.

In the event of unforeseen circumstances, the host and the IEEE PES GTD 2027 Organisers do not accept responsibility for the loss of monies caused by delays. Participants are advised to take out personal travel insurance and to extend their policy to cover personal possessions. The IEEE PES GTD 2027 does not cover individuals against cancellations of bookings or theft or damage to belongings.
Note participants may be photographed or filmed at any time. By attending, you consent to the use, publication, or reproduction of your image or recording in any form of communication material used to promote the event and report on its events through publications and resource materials. If you do not wish to have your image photographed or filmed, please contact the secretariat in advance or onsite to advise of your preference.
IEEE PES GTD 2027 Postponement
In the event of a postponement, all registrations will automatically be transferred to the new IEEE PES GTD 2027 dates. All components of your registration including accommodation bookings, Welcome Reception and Conference Dinner will also be transferred. If you are unable to attend on the new dates, you may contact the IEEE PES GTD 2027 Secretariat. to request a transfer of your registration to a colleague at no cost, or request a cancellation and refund which will incur a $150 administration fee up until the Registration Cancellation Deadline.
IEEE PES GTD 2027 Cancellation
In the event of the cancellation of the IEEE PES GTD 2027, all registrations and associated components of attendance will be cancelled and amounts refunded in full.
